Hipolito Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Los Luminosos's Hipolito Aballe threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nunez Padro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 16th minute, Gustavo Kinsen made a precise shot to the right of Angel Lon. Los Luminosos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Alfonso Calixtos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Hipolito Aballe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Peter got free with Hipolito Aballe in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Hipolito Aballe managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Los Luminosos's Apolo Peter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Berreta's Hipolito Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Peter in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ceferino Koldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Aballe was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Apolo Peter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hipolito Aballe. That made the score 3-1 in the 45 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Kinsen to make the kick off. Hipolito Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Berreta's Gustavo Kinsen got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes of play, Los Luminosos's Alfonso Calixto made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hipolito Aballe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfonso Calixto took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Aballe. Hipolito Aballe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Hipolito Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Padro in the 65th minute of play. If Honorio Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the game, Los Luminosos's Teobaldo Iruinea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipolito Aballe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Apolo Peter took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Aballe. Hipolito Aballe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. In the 78th match minute, Los Luminosos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Norino to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Berreta's goalkeeper Hipolito Aballe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nunez Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hipolito Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Honorio Norino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Luminosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Norino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berreta's Hipolito Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Padro in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Arias in the 89th minute of play forced Berreta's goalkeeper Hipolito Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Kinsen got free with Angel Lon in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Godofredo Haitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Apolo Peter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Hipolito Aballe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
