Los Reyes del Sur FC's Filiberto Beti got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Anier Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Beti in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Victoro saved Corpus AFC from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Carmelo Piarres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Victoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Beti in the 16th minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, Los Reyes del Sur FC's Filiberto Beti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Victoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ignacio Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Beti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Victoro was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Piarres during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Corpus AFC's Carmelo Piarres got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rodrigo Victoro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Reyes del Sur FC's Filiberto Beti. But to his dismay, Filiberto Beti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Reynaldo Jordy hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Corpus AFC's Lino Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A collision led to Los Reyes del Sur FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Anier Abascal hit a great ball. Gilberto Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Telmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Beti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Beti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Victoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Remir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Los Reyes del Sur FC's Filiberto Beti in 60 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rodrigo Victoro guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Filiberto Betis short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Rodrigo Victoro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gilberto Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Pirro in the 67th minute of play. If Ignacio Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Reyes del Sur FC's Gavino Guter was substituted for Ignacio Remir. If Filiberto Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 76 in the game by Filiberto Beti from a close distance when the talented Rodrigo Victoro managed to make a qualified save. Corpus AFC's players were relieved. After 79 minutes, Anier Abascal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Reyes del Sur FC and the Corpus AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anier Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes in the game, Anier Abascal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rodrigo Victoro having to interfere. In the 85th minute Filiberto Beti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Victoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Abascal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Victoro made a huge save. 91 minutes into the game, Rafael Gaitan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Reyes del Sur FC's Anier Abascal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Anier Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Victoro having to interfere. Atilano Ixona might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Victoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilano Ixona ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes of play Corpus AFC's Carmelo Piarres was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Los Reyes del Sur FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
