With a left leg Filomeno Raymond saved Castex FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Castex FC's zone, Felipe Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Raymond came out of the goal and Felipe Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amado Ilazki kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Rosendo Txatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Castex FC's Filomeno Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Nastasio in the 37th minute of play. Luciano Txatxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Raymond having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Castex FC's Christian Bermudo got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
