Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oscar Gaxan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th match minute, Colastiné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Santos Gilabert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denis Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Retiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Salvator to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Madeo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Gogo Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Padro in the 33rd minute of play forced Colastiné's goalkeeper Atilano Rosalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Gipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Gaxan in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Santos Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colastiné's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Gilabert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Teodoro Aztore fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Retiro FC's protests and gave Teodoro Aztore a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Austin was the one to do the kick off. Victor Padro kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 56thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Colastiné's keeper Atilano Rosalio was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 65th minute, Oscar Gaxan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santos Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Gilabert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Victor Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Padro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Rosalio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santiago Paublo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Retiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Gaxan came free, but Denis Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Gogo Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Victor Padros short, quick shot in the 101stth minute got Atilano Rosalio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Retiro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
