Julio Ariando hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Tablada AFC's Fulgencio Valery broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 24 played minutes Tablada AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Valery. Ciro Quintun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cuipán FC booed when Tablada AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Valery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Tximitx in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cuipán FC's Santiago Policarpio got a free kick in the 41st minute. Paolo Moise struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Guillermo Odon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tablada AFC. After 46 played minutes Tablada AFC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Tximitx. In the 48th minute, Julio Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Valery in the 49th minute of play forced Cuipán FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Odon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paolo Moise stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
