Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nunez Corderall kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Nicolas Jakobe made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Iruinea. Humaitá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Laureano Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Corderall in the 13th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Delgado FC's Nicolas Jakobe made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Iruinea was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Darien during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 24 minutes into the match, Delgado FC's goalkeeper Laureano Illart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Hodei. Delgado FC's Nicolas Jakobe got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Humaitá's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Jakobe came free, but Gabriel Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Delgado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Tirso to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Fernando Hodei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Humaitá's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Hodei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Illart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delgado FC's Patricio Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Fernando Hodei notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Delgado FC's Laureano Illart. Laureano Illart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Delgado FC's Patricio Cordeiro in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Humaitá's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Jakobe to make the kick off. Patricio Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Alberto Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Humaitá's Gervasio Oriol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 63 played minutes Humaitá got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Hodei. Humaitá's Gabriel Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Jakobe in the 68th minute of play. Patricio Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Iruinea having to interfere. Laureano Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Corderall in the 74th minute of play. Nicolas Jakobe's late challenge caught a Humaitá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Jakobe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Delgado FC's Nicolas Jakobe got a free kick in the 76th minute. Laureano Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st match minute, Delgado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Jakobe to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Hodei took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Illart. Laureano Illart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 97thth minute of the game Fernando Hodei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delgado FC's Laureano Illart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
