After 22 minutes, Edgard Gomez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redonda and the Yacanto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgard Gomez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Venancio Fiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Redonda's goalkeeper Uriel Poncio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Fiz. Erasmo Dubardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Jacob having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Yacanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Abajas to maneuver through the defense. Niceto Onofre, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Yacanto's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Dubardo came free, but Iker Jacob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Redonda's Edgard Gomez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 46 minutes of play Redonda's Edgard Gomez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 47th minute, Edgard Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Quinito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Poncio having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Dubardo was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Gervasio Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yacanto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Quinito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Redonda's zone, Angelo Quinito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Poncio came out of the goal and Angelo Quinito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Redonda's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Fiz came free, but Uriel Poncio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Jacob made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Erasmo Dubardo sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Yacanto's goalkeeper Iker Jacob had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Dubardo. Uriel Poncio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Quinito went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Yacanto's zone, Erasmo Dubardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Jacob came out of the goal and Erasmo Dubardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Raul Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redonda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Felipillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Quinito in the 94th minute of play forced Redonda's goalkeeper Uriel Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jose Lando fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redonda's protests and gave Jose Lando a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Jose Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Venancio Fiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
