Higinio Poz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Orlando Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Efrain Chan fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tolojna AFC's protests and gave Efrain Chan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tolojna AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Efrain Chan hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in TEAM EDU fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Leon Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, Tolojna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Bladi to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Higinio Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Poz in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Leon Laurgain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Tolojna AFC's Benigno Rius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Felo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Poz in the 43rd minute of play forced Tolojna AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benigno Rius to make the kick off. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tolojna AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Quirce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Tolojna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Bladi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Eleuterio Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot. TEAM EDU's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Dominix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Quirce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see TEAM EDU lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
