The Amadeo Romero was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gerardo Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Saverio Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Iturri hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Volta AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Estevez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Matthew in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Volta AFC's Saverio Sotero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Lauren in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Estevez saved Volta AFC from getting behind.
