In the 13th minute Hermengildo Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Eutor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Rodrigo Cordario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tandil's Nereo Oto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofilo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Oto having to interfere. Valentin Paskal's late challenge caught a Pujol FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Inocencio Patrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Eutor having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tandil's zone, Rodrigo Cordario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Oto came out of the goal and Rodrigo Cordario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Paskal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Agustin Eutor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tandil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Guifre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Inocencio Patrido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tandil's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Patrido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Eutor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Pujol FC defense, Hermengildo Guifre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Eutor. The Pujol FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Eutor should have stopped the shot. Inocencio Patrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tandil's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rodrigo Cordario 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. When Valentin Paskal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. In the 85th match minute, Tandil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Paskal to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Patrido in the 93rd minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Pujol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Txema to maneuver through the defense. Pujol FC's Agustin Eutor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Patrido in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pujol FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
