After some careless play in the Durazno defense, Cecilio Rio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ambrosio Frans. The Durazno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrosio Frans should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Durazno getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded 10 000 DE VISITANTE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Durazno.
