Norumbega AFC's Joel Opilano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Norumbega AFC from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, 10 000 DE VISITANTE's Søren Nezer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Opilano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Opilano made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Cecilio Rio sent off a good shot on target. Cecilio Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Joel Opilano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Cecilio Rio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 19th minute Esteve Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Cecilio Rio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Opilano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cecilio Rio came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the 10 000 DE VISITANTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Rio couldn't finish the play. Søren Nezer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Opilano having to make a save. Arnulfo Tello charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Tello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnulfo Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Pablo Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Søren Nezer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cecilio Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joel Opilano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Søren Nezer might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Opilano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Søren Nezer ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Cecilio Rio made the kick off in the second half. Joel Opilano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cecilio Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Opilano having to interfere. Cecilio Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Joel Opilano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play, 10 000 DE VISITANTE's Cecilio Rio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Opilano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Jakes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Opilano having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Pablo Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot. 10 000 DE VISITANTE's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Erlantz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Opilano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd match minute, 10 000 DE VISITANTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Demario to maneuver through the defense. 10 000 DE VISITANTE's Cecilio Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, 10 000 DE VISITANTE's Pablo Erlantz got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Norumbega AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 10 000 DE VISITANTE:s goal. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for 10 000 DE VISITANTE. Anastasio Marques stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joel Opilano. 3-0. The 10 000 DE VISITANTE fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when 10 000 DE VISITANTE's Cecilio Rio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pablo Erlantz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Opilano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Søren Nezer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Opilano was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 10 000 DE VISITANTE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
