Paulino Theodore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Tamberías's Andres Colon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Rutenio in the 8th minute of play forced Tamberías's goalkeeper Godofredo Videl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maipú's Sixto Diagur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Salomon in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Tamberías's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Lucian came free, but Godofredo Videl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maipú's Ezequiel Salvator got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to Tamberías getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gustavo Balasi hit a great ball. Simon Rutenio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godofredo Videl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Emanuel Lop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Diagur having to interfere. If Simon Rutenio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Maipú were awarded a corner. Omar Gau went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Omar Gau almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tamberías's Godofredo Videl did a great save. 45 minutes into the match, Tamberías's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Rutenio came free, but Godofredo Videl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Simon Rutenio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Lucian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Tamberías's Gregorio Salomon got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Niceto Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sixto Diagur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Maipú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. Laureano Ebardo's late challenge caught a Tamberías's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Ebardo helped the player get up and apologised. Maipú's Sixto Diagur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Lop in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Simon Rutenio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Godofredo Videl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Emanuel Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Emanuel Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tamberías defense, Simon Rutenio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godofredo Videl. The Tamberías fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godofredo Videl should have stopped the shot. The Maipú players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
