The Mixto AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Mazuste should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Roman Galeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavayén FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Galeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Mazuste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roque Mazuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Merexildo in the 19th minute of the match. Americo Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lavayén FC's Elpidio Ramone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Idacio in the 24th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Venancio Merexildo to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 55 in the game by Romulo Idacio from a close distance when the talented Elpidio Ramone managed to make a qualified save. Lavayén FC's players were relieved. Elpidio Ramone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Idacio in the 56th minute. Americo Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Romulo Idacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Ramone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Idacio in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Mixto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Merexildo came free, but Roque Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lavayén FC booed when Mixto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Sedeni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lavayén FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bartolo Ordono ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bartolo Ordono got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elpidio Ramone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Americo Panpili was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Mixto AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
