Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Rioja took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Irigoyen FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ivan Felo hit a great ball. If Teodoro Mosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Irigoyen FC booed when Zanjón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Celipe in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dionisio Qwinton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 14 minutes into the game, Zanjón FC's Tomás Rioja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Osvaldo Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Rioja in the 21st minute of play. Osvaldo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute Teodoro Mosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Felo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Alejandro Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Qwinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Tomás Rioja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Irigoyen FC's Osvaldo Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Teodoro Mosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irigoyen FC's Osvaldo Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Rioja in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Irigoyen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Rioja came free, but Osvaldo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Irigoyen FC's zone, Tomás Rioja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Azevedo came out of the goal and Tomás Rioja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejandro Eutor made a kick off. Dionisio Qwinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Qwinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Celipe in the 56th minute of play. Tomás Rioja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Alejandro Eutor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dionisio Qwinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionisio Qwinton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Eutor's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Godfredo Celipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Mosen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Osvaldo Azevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Osvaldo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Irigoyen FC's Osvaldo Azevedo got control of the ball when Teodoro Mosen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Irigoyen FC's Osvaldo Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Rioja in the 78th minute of play. Teodoro Mosen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Azevedo made a huge save. Osvaldo Azevedo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Zanjón FC's Tomás Rioja got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Mosen got free with Osvaldo Azevedo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Tomás Rioja got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Celipe in the 95th minute of play forced Zanjón FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Qwinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zanjón FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
