Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Segundo Ponce took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edgardo Foro took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justo Chago. Justo Chago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Edgardo Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Segundo Ponce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Foro in the 14th minute of play forced Holmberg's goalkeeper Justo Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Holmberg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Segundo Ponce fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Holmberg's Justo Chago got control of the ball when Edgardo Foro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Segundo Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serrano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jorge Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Jeronimo Lico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Ishmael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Tercero having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Serrano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Lico came free, but Diego Tercero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Lico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Tercero. Serrano AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Lico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Serrano AFC's Nestor Silvino got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jeronimo Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Diego Tercero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes in the game, Jeronimo Lico dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Lico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Justo Chago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Jakue in the 52nd minute of play. Guillermo Jakue's late challenge caught a Holmberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Jakue helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Serrano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Jakue. The long shot by Sebastian Cordarrel in the 56th minute really tested Diego Tercero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeronimo Lico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diego Tercero. That made the score 1-3 in the 57 minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, one of Holmberg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeronimo Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Diego Tercero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Holmberg's Jeronimo Lico ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diego Tercero. Diego Tercero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Justo Chago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Ponce in the 79th minute of play. Diego Tercero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Cordeal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Justo Chago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Serrano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Diego Tercero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Lico's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Ishmael got free with Diego Tercero in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Tercero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Ishmael went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. The Holmberg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Holmberg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
