The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teofilo Dolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Gutierrez in the 6th minute of play. Teofilo Dolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Canlazary FC's Gaudencio Cordairo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee ignored Canlazary FC's protests and gave Hugo Fernado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Canlazary FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Fernado to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Mattin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Canlazary FC's Braulio Sanchez got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Canlazary FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Ramos to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Astor Artizar made a precise shot to the right of Teofilo Dolfo. Canlazary FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Gaston Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Dolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Camerino, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Canlazary FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Artizar came free, but Teofilo Dolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Llin got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Higinio Gutierrez. In the 47th match minute, Canlazary FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. The Canlazary FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Necol FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Cordairo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Placido Berbiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Narciso Mattin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teofilo Dolfo. Narciso Mattin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Gutierrez got free with Teofilo Dolfo in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Justino Toli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Necol FC got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Gutierrez. Astor Artizar's late challenge caught a Canlazary FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Artizar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Narciso Mattin made a precise shot to the right of Teofilo Dolfo. Canlazary FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Teofilo Dolfo was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Melchor Camerino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Melchor Camerino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Higinio Gutierrez was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Necol FC played a much better game than Canlazary FC and deserved their victory. The Canlazary FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
