Narciso Mattin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Gaston Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Justo Chago managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Necol FC's Narciso Mattin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Placido Berbiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Pere stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justo Chago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Holmberg getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Justo Tartalo hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Narciso Mattin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justo Chago was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 83rd minute, Justo Tartalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
