The referee gave Siro Araoz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 38th match minute, Caseros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Araoz to maneuver through the defense. Batista Vilaprenyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Modesto Arotza made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Baltasar Txordon put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Modesto Arotza. Modesto Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Txordon in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Domingos Ferran made the kick off in the second half. The Caseros AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Arotza should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Txordon in the 71st minute of play forced Caseros AFC's goalkeeper Modesto Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Txordon in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Arotza prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
