After a defensive mix-up in Guerrero's zone, Marcelino Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Bide came out of the goal and Marcelino Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Juan Bizāns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Israel Nafarroa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fernan Bide, passed just outside the right post. Guerrero's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Argentina F.C. booed when Guerrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Gustau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Evelio Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Sazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Juan Bizāns sped through Guerrero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernan Bide. When the referee ended the match the Argentina F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
