Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rivera AFC's Cayetano Erroman suffered a fractured collar bone after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Florentino Remicio charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Remicio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 5 minutes into the game, one of Guerrero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute Godfredo Bidari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Carlomagno in the 19th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Guerrero's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Bidari came free, but Fernan Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Bidari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Bide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Bidari in the 29th minute of play forced Guerrero's goalkeeper Fernan Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31st play minutes Gaudencio Jakobe shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Fernan Bide and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Guerrero's Ulises Carlomagno got a free kick in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Carlomagno to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Severo Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Daunte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Bide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Bide having to interfere. Fernan Bide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roque Walme in the 59th minute. Godfredo Bidari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fernan Bide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guerrero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonel Iruinea was slow to take the kick. During this time Rivera AFC's players had a chance to rest. Benjamin Nafarroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Carlomagno, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rivera AFC's zone, Ulises Carlomagno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Nafarroa came out of the goal and Ulises Carlomagno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Guerrero's Florentino Remicio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gaudencio Jakobe kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Ulises Carlomagno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Benjamin Nafarroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guerrero's Dante Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rivera AFC's Benjamin Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Carlomagno in the 89th minute of play. Godfredo Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Bide having to interfere. The Rivera AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rivera AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
