The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerardo Misael struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Benedicto Lorencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrero. Benedicto Lorencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Misael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Luciano Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriana Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marciano Charro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Lorencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Cordeal in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Cordeal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benedicto Lorencio. Arnaldo Cordeal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Adriana Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Charro in the 24th minute of the match. If Marciano Charro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the game, Gervasio Montxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Realicó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrero the free kick. After a rather tough play, Realicó's Gervasio Montxo got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Gerardo Misael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Realicó's Benedicto Lorencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th match minute, Potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Hats to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Potrero's zone, Marciano Charro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriana Martinez came out of the goal and Marciano Charro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arnaldo Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Arnaldo Cordeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Benedicto Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Charro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Realicó got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Iraunkor. Benedicto Lorencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Misael in the 79th minute of the match. Marciano Charro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriana Martinez having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Marciano Charro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Cordeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Benedicto Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Cordeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Lorencio having to interfere.
