Tadeo Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Duardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Santo Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Ordono having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Curacó got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Oxel. In the 10th minute Santo Ted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Ordono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Froilan Oxel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Desiderio Mogel. Froilan Oxel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Desiderio Mogel made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Aquilino Nesor sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Curacó getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cristian Kelemen hit a great ball. When Leonardo Duardo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Laharrague fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Duardo couldn't finish the play. Froilan Oxel kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Santo Ted struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tadeo Ordono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laharrague. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Leonardo Duardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laharrague's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Duardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Ordono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Nesor got free with Desiderio Mogel in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Florentino Duardo rounded Laharrague's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Desiderio Mogel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Duardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Duardo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Ermegildo Quintana fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacó's protests and gave Ermegildo Quintana a yellow card for diving instead. Ermegildo Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Rodolfo Corderro charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Corderro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodolfo Corderro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Laharrague's Desiderio Mogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Duardo in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Florentino Duardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Mogel. Laharrague's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Duardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Santo Ted blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Ordono having to make a save. Curacó's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
