Desiderio Mogel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes Huaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Lorien. With a little luck, Huaco AFC's Ciriaco Adrio got control of the ball when Santo Ted tried to sneak it across the goal line. Desiderio Mogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, Huaco AFC's Federico Fernanco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Desiderio Mogel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Federico Fernanco came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Huaco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Fernanco couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the game, Feliberto Martino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huaco AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laharrague the free kick. Feliberto Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Feliberto Martino suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Laharrague's Silvio Oidor got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Santo Ted came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Laharrague fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Ted couldn't finish the play. Santo Ted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ciriaco Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Oidor hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Duardo was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Laharrague got a corner. Huaco AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodrigo Tomi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bonifacio Lorien struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Desiderio Mogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huaco AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Laharrague's zone, Bonifacio Lorien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Mogel came out of the goal and Bonifacio Lorien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Desiderio Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laharrague's Desiderio Mogel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Laharrague from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Tomi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Desiderio Mogel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Bazil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Mogel having to interfere. When Iker Librado fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laharrague's protests and gave Iker Librado a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Laharrague got a freekick which was hit by Iker Librado. In the 94th minute Leonardo Duardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Huaco AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
