An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Lorien in the 44th minute of play forced Curacó's goalkeeper Tadeo Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Fernanco in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Florentino Duardo scored 3-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Adrio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Federico Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Curacó's German Medina got a free kick in the 65th minute. Huaco AFC's Bonifacio Lorien got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Froilan Oxel's late challenge caught a Huaco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Froilan Oxel helped the player get up and apologised. Froilan Oxel kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Huaco AFC booed when Curacó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Oxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Federico Fernanco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Ordono was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The supporters of Huaco AFC booed when Curacó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Quintana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Duardo struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Ciriaco Adrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curacó. Curacó's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
