Roman Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Oihenarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Olando having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Oihenarte in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Olando saved Rosario from getting behind. Paolo Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Olando having to interfere. Stegmann were furious when Virgilio Harkaitz was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stegmann! The referee gave Rosario a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomás Quexal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stegmann's Froilan Mosen. 1-0. With a little luck, Stegmann's Froilan Mosen got control of the ball when Camilo Aballe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Tomás Quexal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario's zone, Roman Oihenarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Olando came out of the goal and Roman Oihenarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Oihenarte took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Olando. Epifanio Olando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Garoa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Camilo Aballe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute Niceto Garoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Mosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Niceto Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Garoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Mosen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rosario's Severo Semeno got a free kick in the 64th minute. Camilo Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Oihenarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Olando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Oihenarte ran back to his position shaking his head. Stegmann's Froilan Mosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Garoa in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Stegmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Senio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Camilo Aballe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Aballe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Mosen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 played minutes Stegmann got a freekick which was hit by Lino Orain. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
