In the 8th minute, Rafael Txema made a precise shot to the right of Nunez Guilabertus. Floresta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rafael Txema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Guilabertus having to interfere. After some careless play in the Floresta FC defense, Rafael Txema kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Guilabertus. The Floresta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Guilabertus should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Sanford's Geronimo Cordara got control of the ball when Cleto Demesio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cleto Demesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Geronimo Cordara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Cordarryl charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Cordarryl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Floresta FC booed when Sanford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Cordarryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Sanford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Chepe to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Ramon Bizi from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Geronimo Cordara's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Rafael Txema came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Sanford fans jumped to their feet.
