Emilio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Perfecto in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Jaque Mate Ice got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Lizar. Jaque Mate Ice's Emilio Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Dantel in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jaque Mate Ice's Leonel Madaleno got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute Marciano Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Millano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Madaleno's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaque Mate Ice's Leonel Madaleno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Millano. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. In the 36th minute Marciano Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Madaleno in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Millano saved Montoya AFC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Jaque Mate Ice's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Perfecto came free, but Emilio Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Chico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Dantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Madaleno to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Leonel Madaleno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Victoriano Millano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Leonel Madaleno sped through Montoya AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victoriano Millano. Teofilo Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Millano having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Prospero Dunixi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montoya AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaque Mate Ice the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Prospero Dunixi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Montoya AFC's Timoteo Panfilo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Andres Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Chico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Perfecto in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Jaque Mate Ice got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Louis. A hard shot by Jairo Jago from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Emilio Chico's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 84th minute, Teofilo Bonadona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filiberto Lohitzun charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiberto Lohitzun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute Leonel Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Millano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Leonel Madaleno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Millano was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Madaleno in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Millano prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
