The supporters of Juancho booed when Jaque Mate Ice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaque Mate Ice's Emilio Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Venerando in the 11th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Apolo Lizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Madaleno in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmar Viator prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Kelemen to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonel Madaleno might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Viator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonel Madaleno ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmar Viator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Madaleno in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Jaque Mate Ice's Leonel Madaleno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmar Viator made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Jesus Orlondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Jaque Mate Ice's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Kelemen came free, but Emilio Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Jaque Mate Ice getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Evelio Geleberto hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Fulgencio Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Chico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Orlondo in the 84th minute. Apolo Lizar charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Lizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apolo Lizar kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Madaleno in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Viator saved Juancho from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Juancho's zone, Leonel Madaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Viator came out of the goal and Leonel Madaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Ramiro Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute Mario Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Jaque Mate Ice were the better team. Jaque Mate Ice's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
