Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Remigio Odilon took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Arbolito's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Mateo came free, but Narciso Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zeledon Mateo sped through Arbolito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Narciso Beltran. 14 minutes into the game, Legendarios's Zeledon Mateo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Beltran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Beltran during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arbolito getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Reynaldo Beltran hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, one of Arbolito:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Legendarios a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zeledon Mateo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arbolito's Narciso Beltran. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Arbolito's Reynaldo Beltran got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Frechoso got free with Andrzej Majewski in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Mateo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Beltran saved Arbolito from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Zeledon Mateo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Arbolito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Legendarios were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Mateo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Arbolito's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Lazcano came free, but Narciso Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Arturo Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legendarios's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Beltran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narciso Beltran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zeledon Mateo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Arbolito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Enol to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Mateo, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 69th minute, Omar Ordono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 78 minutes, Reynaldo Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arbolito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Arotza hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Zeledon Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Arturo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arbolito's zone, Zeledon Mateo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Beltran came out of the goal and Zeledon Mateo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Arbolito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Giro to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Mateo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Narciso Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legendarios. Legendarios's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
