The supporters of Raíces booed when Tienso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Fertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Raíces! 11 minutes into the game, Tienso AFC's Honorato Gilabert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Gines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Tienso AFC's goalkeeper Alonzo Tolino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Lopes. Jacinto Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Tienso AFC's Modesto Truylos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Gines was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Tienso AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Caitano came free, but Alonzo Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Perutxo's late challenge caught a Raíces's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Perutxo helped the player get up and apologised. Alonzo Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Garoa in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Tienso AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Honorato Gilabert hit a great ball. Alonzo Tolino was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Jacinto Lopes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto Lopes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The Raíces players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tienso AFC were winning 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Modesto Truylos to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Senon got free with Haroldo Gines in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Gines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Senon in the 54th minute. Tienso AFC's Alonzo Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Caitano in the 58th minute of play. Haroldo Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Truylos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Benito Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Tolino having to interfere. Raíces's Haroldo Gines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Raíces from getting a goal against them. Haroldo Gines made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ignacio Senon sent off a good shot on target. Ignacio Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Haroldo Gines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Caitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tienso AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
