Cristo Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Truylos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pico AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alberto Medero hit a great ball. Modesto Truylos struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cristo Errapel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tienso AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ignacio Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tienso AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Senon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Vasco to strike the kick off in the second half. When Efrain Justin came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Pico AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Justin couldn't finish the play.
