Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teodosio Herena took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Severino Elivareo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jeanmaire's protests and gave Severino Elivareo a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Jeanmaire got a freekick which was hit by Severino Elivareo. When Lisandro Garikoitz fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaimán's protests and gave Lisandro Garikoitz a yellow card for diving instead. Lisandro Garikoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Cayetano Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Osoitz having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Javier Nisio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maximo Selatse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillermo Aresti might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Osoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Aresti ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute of the match Bruno Savier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anastasio Osoitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Heli got free with Anastasio Osoitz in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodosio Herena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Jeanmaire's zone, Javier Nisio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Selatse came out of the goal and Javier Nisio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Guillermo Aresti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaimán's Anastasio Osoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anastasio Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Melquiades Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Jeanmaire's Oscar Telmo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Aresti made a kick off. Anastasio Osoitz came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jeanmaire's Guillermo Aresti. But to his dismay, Guillermo Aresti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gaimán's Javier Nisio got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Nisio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Maximo Selatse made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Herena in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Selatse saved Jeanmaire from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Herena in the 66th minute of play forced Jeanmaire's goalkeeper Maximo Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Nisio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Maximo Selatse skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Severino Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Anastasio Osoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Heli's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes of play Gaimán's Lisandro Garikoitz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 79 played minutes Gaimán got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Garikoitz. 82 minutes into the game, Jeanmaire's Guillermo Aresti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Osoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cayetano Heli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Osoitz having to interfere. Cayetano Heli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Anastasio Osoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jeanmaire booed when Gaimán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Herena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Osoitz having to interfere. Gaimán's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
