Domingos Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Almacén San Jose's Felipe Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Columbo in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Columbo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Markel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Almacén San Jose's Felipe Markel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Almacén San Jose from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Almacén San Jose's Felipe Markel got control of the ball when Domingos Pello tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Leopoldo Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Lizardi's late challenge caught a Almacén San Jose's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgrano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Almacén San Jose.
