The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Burni during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lescanos's Diego Burni got a free kick in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Zacarias Mouricio put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Severiano Merexildo. Severiano Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Cristofor in the 16th minute of play. Diego Burni got his second yellow card in the match during the 18th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Diego Burni kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Lescanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Ilixo to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Cristofor in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Merexildo saved Lescanos from getting behind. Severiano Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Bembe, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ceferino Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. CANCER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Cristofor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Tomi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rolando Cristofor came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the CANCER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Cristofor couldn't finish the play. Severiano Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Cristofor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CANCER FC booed when Lescanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Etxekopar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lescanos's Severiano Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Cristofor in the 63rd minute of play. Rolando Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Severiano Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Cristofor, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ceferino Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Merexildo having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Lescanos got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Ilixo. After recieving a nice pass, CANCER FC's Donato Dominguez tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
