Spurr's Jaime Manuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Otsoa in the 8th minute of play. Lucio Iratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Manuelo having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Udpimango FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Sabino. In the 24th minute, Lucio Iratze made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Manuelo. Spurr's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Godfredo Lamberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Lalla in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Eufemio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Lamberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Eufemio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Lalla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cleto Eufemios short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Godfredo Lamberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute Lucio Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Manuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Spurr's Gaspar Sandalio got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Udpimango FC's Godfredo Lamberto got control of the ball when Cleto Eufemio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Aldo Lalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spurr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Lalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 played minutes Spurr got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Baristo. After a defensive mix-up in Spurr's zone, Jose Otsoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Manuelo came out of the goal and Jose Otsoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lucio Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Udpimango FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Iratze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Manuelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Sergio Sabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
