Gonzalo Petrigai succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. Amador Montay made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gonzalo Petrigai sent off a good shot on target. Enzo Laurendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Itzaina's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Amador Montay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Petrigai in the 17th minute. Amador Montay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Indartsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Petrigai got free with Amador Montay in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pampichuela booed when Averías was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Joanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Pacho, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Donato Indartsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pampichuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Indartsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 minutes of play, Averías's Conrado Itzaina made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Laurendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Donato Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Indartsu in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Montay saved Averías from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Averías's Leon Joanes got a free kick in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Itzaina was the one to do the kick off. If Gonzalo Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Donato Indartsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Averías's Amador Montay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Donato Indartsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amador Montay was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Gonzalo Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Laurendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Itzaina in the 69th minute of the match. Pampichuela's Enzo Laurendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Itzaina in the 82nd minute of play. Amador Montay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Indartsu in the 84th minute of play. Despite this Enzo Laurendi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gonzalo Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Montay having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Petrigai in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Montay saved Averías from getting behind. Gonzalo Petrigai struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Amador Montay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pampichuela. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
