Faustino Hotz kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Baldomiro Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Miñones FC's Delmiro Geleberto got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Andres Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Gregorio Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Aureo having to interfere. Joaquin Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Lon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Urbes in the 32nd minute of play forced Miñones FC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Eneko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Miñones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Sauveur came free, but Baldomiro Eneko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leo Lon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Oscar Aimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miñones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Aimar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregorio Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Eneko having to interfere. If Oscar Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Miñones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Geleberto to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Lon made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salazar's goalkeeper Joaquin Aureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Salazar's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Aimar came free, but Joaquin Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Oscar Aimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miñones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Aimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Aureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Urbes got free with Baldomiro Eneko in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorio Bela's late challenge caught a Miñones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Bela helped the player get up and apologised. Hermengildo Cordarrel charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermengildo Cordarrel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Miñones FC's Hermengildo Cordarrel got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Atilano Pasqual was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Salazar's Andres Sauveur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomiro Eneko. Baldomiro Eneko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Salazar's Filomeno Egoi got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes, Miñones FC's Maximiliano Guillerme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Aureo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Miñones FC reached it. Joaquin Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Lon in the 92nd minute of the match. Salazar's Joaquin Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Lon in the 95th minute of play. Baldomiro Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Miñones FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Salazar's performance. The match ended with a win for Salazar.
