An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Abeitia in the 16th minute of play forced Andino FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Correra's goalkeeper Paulo Fernado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Iker Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Correra's Eusebio Abeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Sabin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacobo Sabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Inocencio Telesforo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Andino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Telesforo couldn't finish the play. Eusebio Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Sabin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Tancredo in the 41st minute of play forced Correra's goalkeeper Paulo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Inocencio Telesforo made the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Fernendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jacobo Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Sabin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Fernendo in the 56th minute of play. Santiago Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Franco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Andino FC's zone, Eusebio Abeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Sabin came out of the goal and Eusebio Abeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Chucho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Correra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andino FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Correra's Fulgencio Chucho got a free kick in the 60th minute. A collision led to Andino FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bernabe Mel hit a great ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Eusebio Abeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Abeitia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andino FC's Jacobo Sabin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Andino FC from getting a goal against them. Santiago Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A hard shot 74 in the game by Eusebio Abeitia from a close distance when the talented Jacobo Sabin managed to make a qualified save. Andino FC's players were relieved. Paulo Fernado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Tancredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Vladimiro Fernendo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jacobo Sabin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Correra. If Vladimiro Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Correra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Correra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
