An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Barto in the 6th minute of play forced Ancón's goalkeeper Bonifacio Gabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Gabino having to interfere. With a little luck, Ancón's Bonifacio Gabino got control of the ball when Benigno Barto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Fracaso Total AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Orland came free, but Igor Jaunti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fracaso Total AFC booed when Ancón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Raimundo Orland sped through Fracaso Total AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Igor Jaunti. Igor Jaunti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Virgilio Osoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fracaso Total AFC's Arnaldo Quexal got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Barto made a kick off. Primitivo Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Gabino having to interfere. Fracaso Total AFC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Ancón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnaldo Quexal took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Arnaldo Quexal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bonifacio Gabino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bonifacio Gabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Osoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fracaso Total AFC's zone, Raimundo Orland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Jaunti came out of the goal and Raimundo Orland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raimundo Orland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Fracaso Total AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Virgilio Osoitz hit a great ball. Primitivo Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bonifacio Gabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Ancón got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Urdin. Ancón's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
