Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Jarilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Chorche came free, but Benigno Poz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Isaias Valentine fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacharramendi AFC's protests and gave Isaias Valentine a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Jarilla AFC. Uriel Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Casimiro Senon. 0-1. After having played for 17 minutes, Benedicto Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacharramendi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Chorche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 minutes, Blas Petrigai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jarilla AFC and the Chacharramendi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jarilla AFC's Blas Petrigai got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Benedicto Chorche came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Chacharramendi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Chorche couldn't finish the play. Isaias Curcio came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benigno Poz could save by the left post. Zeledon Amato might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casimiro Senon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeledon Amato ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Chacharramendi AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Isaias Valentine hit a great ball. After 27 minutes Chacharramendi AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Uriel Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Guaberto Venceslao to score against Casimiro Senon in Chacharramendi AFC's goal. 0-2 after 27 minutes. A collision led to Chacharramendi AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Remigio Azubeli hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Zeledon Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Senon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Venceslao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Poz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Chorche in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Jarilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Chorche came free, but Benigno Poz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guaberto Venceslao to make the kick off. Zeledon Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Senon having to interfere. In the 67th minute Isaias Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarilla AFC's Benigno Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Curcio in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Chacharramendi AFC's goalkeeper Casimiro Senon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Amato. Zeledon Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Chacharramendi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Venceslao came free, but Casimiro Senon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
