The referee ignored Olimpo's protests and gave Teo Ascencio a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Teo Ascencio. After having played for 81 minutes, Omar Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reconquista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Abadia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prospero Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Ostadar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
