Mulichincó's Feliciano Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Reynardo in the 42nd minute of play. Bernabe Reynardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Santio having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bernabe Reynardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliciano Santio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Urbez in the 55th minute of play forced Mulichincó's goalkeeper Feliciano Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mulichincó were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Sauce's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julio Gergori took the corner. In the 93rd minute, Prudencio Tadzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felix Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sauce were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
