Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Feliberto Rivero made the kick off which started today's match. Atilano Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Tello, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Salto FC's Marcelino Tello in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 23rd minute, Gerardo Abilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcelino Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Gerardo Abilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Atilano Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Abilio in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Tello in the 39th minute of play forced Vanguardia's goalkeeper Atilano Nofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nunez Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Innocenzio having to interfere. Zacarias Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Rivero in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Tello made a kick off. Marcelino Tello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Atilano Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute of the match Adolfo Ortle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Innocenzio skillfully saved the ball. Vanguardia's Atilano Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Tello in the 71st minute of play. Feliberto Rivero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Rius in the 76th minute of the match. Feliberto Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zacarias Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Feliberto Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Salto FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Oso. Zacarias Innocenzio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliberto Rivero went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Feliberto Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vanguardia getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fidel Maiorga hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
