Severo Pello's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Abelardo Llorienzo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 45 minutes into the match, Monasterio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Garcia came free, but Felipe Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Francisco Rexino kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Felipe Satordi made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ambrosio Garcia sent off a good shot on target. Abelardo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Sergi in the 58th minute of play. If Ambrosio Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Arbolito's Arnoldo Guerrero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Felipe Satordi. Juan Garoa charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Garoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Garoa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Arbolito's Astor Jakue got a free kick in the 75th minute. Abelardo Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Satordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Garcia in the 79th minute. Monasterio AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Pello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Severo Pello came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Monasterio AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Pello couldn't finish the play.
