Fidel Romano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Israel Che when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teodoro Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Ixona in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Paloma AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Feliberto Lopes hit a great ball. Teodoro Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Ixona in the 25th minute of play forced John Wick's goalkeeper Teodoro Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Che having to interfere. After some careless play in the John Wick defense, Ladislao Guillerme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Pelagius. The John Wick fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Pelagius should have stopped the shot. After 37 played minutes Paloma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Belo. After 39 played minutes Paloma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Belo. After a defensive mix-up in Paloma AFC's zone, Fidel Romano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Che came out of the goal and Fidel Romano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Ixona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Teodoro Pelagius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Guillerme in the 62nd minute. After 71 played minutes John Wick got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Olo. Paloma AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justo Goiz in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, John Wick's Teodosio Torres got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Paloma AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
