Gaudencio Piorno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gilberto Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Ibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Igon having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Huncal AFC's zone, Gaudencio Piorno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Igon came out of the goal and Gaudencio Piorno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaudencio Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Igon having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Segundo Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gaudencio Piorno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Ibar in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Igon saved Huncal AFC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Huncal AFC defense, Gaudencio Piorno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Igon. The Huncal AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Igon should have stopped the shot. The supporters of C.S.C.y.D. La Central booed when Huncal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aureliano Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Piorno took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Igon. Gilberto Igon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Ibar made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Garaona in the 52nd minute of play forced Huncal AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Leobardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gilberto Igon made a huge save. When Aureliano Valente came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the C.S.C.y.D. La Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Valente couldn't finish the play. After having played for 60 minutes, Aurelio Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.C.y.D. La Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Ibar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to C.S.C.y.D. La Central getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Baldomero Txindoki hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Huncal AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aurelio Ibar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Huncal AFC's zone, Baldomero Txindoki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Igon came out of the goal and Baldomero Txindoki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Playo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gilberto Igon made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Aurelio Ibar sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Huncal AFC's zone, Gaudencio Piorno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Igon came out of the goal and Gaudencio Piorno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Vidal in the 82nd minute of play. Clemente Llanos hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Huncal AFC's zone, Aurelio Ibar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Igon came out of the goal and Aurelio Ibar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Huncal AFC's Gilberto Igon got control of the ball when Raimundo Clodio tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.S.C.y.D. La Central's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
