The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joel Orain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Hernando in the 5th minute of play. Diego Berasko charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Berasko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Turungun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Berasko to maneuver through the defense. When Alfonso Hernando came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Yacuchina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Hernando couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Turungun getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Diego Berasko hit a great ball. Zacarias Hermon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alfonso Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Orain having to interfere. Joel Orain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Manuelo in the 28th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Turungun's Ildefonso Polo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Conrado Tiniebra notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Turungun's Joel Orain. Joel Orain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ildefonso Polo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Edgard Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turungun. The audience was convinced that Narciso Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Arias was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Conrado Tiniebra struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Joel Orain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yacuchina AFC.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Hernando to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Hernando in the 52nd minute of play forced Turungun's goalkeeper Joel Orain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Turungun's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Tiniebra came free, but Joel Orain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Ildefonso Polo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cecilio Manuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Conrado Tiniebra struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Joel Orain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yacuchina AFC. When Alfonso Hernando came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Yacuchina AFC fans jumped to their feet. Edgard Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Yacuchina AFC's Cleto Dabi got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Narciso Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Justo Quentin fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turungun's protests and gave Justo Quentin a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Turungun got a freekick which was hit by Justo Quentin. Conrado Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Orain having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yacuchina AFC's zone, Ildefonso Polo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Arias came out of the goal and Ildefonso Polo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Arias having to interfere. Yacuchina AFC's Edgard Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Yacuchina AFC from getting a goal against them. Yacuchina AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
