When Anibal Ioritz fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berazategui's protests and gave Anibal Ioritz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Berazategui getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Anibal Ioritz hit a great ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Edgardo Giraldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berazategui's Luis Santxol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Berazategui's Anibal Ioritz got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 9th minute of the match, Epifanio Errando got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luis Santxol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Batea AFC's Ubaldo Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Abarca in the 11th minute of play. Edgardo Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Batea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Abarca came free, but Ubaldo Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Edgardo Giraldo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Santxol. Edgardo Giraldo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 41st minute, one of Berazategui:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Berazategui. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Batea AFC's Damian Ramirez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luis Santxol. Astor Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Estebe made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Batea AFC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Cordario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Abarca. 53 minutes into the match, Berazategui's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Giraldo came free, but Luis Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Epifanio Errando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Santxol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Epifanio Errando sped through Berazategui's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luis Santxol. In the 65th minute, Dionisio Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Astor Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Berazategui's Pascual Dimo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubaldo Cordario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Astor Estebe might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Cordario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Estebe ran back to his position shaking his head. Desiderio Flor's late challenge caught a Berazategui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Flor helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Berazategui's Astor Estebe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ubaldo Cordario. That made the score 3-3 after 80 minutes of play. If Edgardo Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berazategui's Luis Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Errando in the 92nd minute of play. If Astor Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Cordario having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
