In the 59thth minute of the game Cristo Berriotxoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria FC's Niceto Savion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, one of Las Pulguitas Rugby:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Candelaria FC a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfonso Tavio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Las Pulguitas Rugby's Generoso Freire. 1-1. After having played for 66 minutes, Rene Charro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Charro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Amadeo Lugo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played.
